The History of VAKT® GmbH - from Systems House to Management Architecture.
The VAKT® GmbH is a growth-oriented interim management consulting firm based in Westerwald. Through many years of experience, high qualifications, and continuous employee training, the company has evolved from a former IT systems house with network support only to a high-end IT management consulting firm. Especially in the areas of project management and quality management, many companies have significant optimization potential and thus the opportunity to reallocate resources currently tied up. The clear alignment with standards allows for the activation of unused or dormant resources, redirecting them profitably back into the company. As an experienced and successful IT management consulting firm, we show you ways to achieve your corporate goals. We support the emergence of new visions in your company by the consistent application of existing and successful IT standards, such as ITIL© Service Management, Cobit, Prince 2™, and the use of PMI® in project management. The present company VAKT® GmbH has its roots in the year 2001. After long-standing activities in the automotive industry, with one of the world's leading automotive suppliers, and also several years of involvement with a Finnish producer of firewalls, VPN, and other mobile devices, Mr. Karsten Engler founded the sole proprietorship Project Office Karsten Engler on March 1, 2001, with offices in Neuss (on the Rhine) and Frankfurt/Main. On January 1, 2007, the Project Office Karsten Engler then changed its name to VAKT Karsten Engler. VAKT® has been registered as a trademark with the German Patent and Trademark Office since March 21, 2007. On November 17, 2009, Mr. Karsten Engler, together with Ms. Anett Müller-Engler, founded the company VAKT® - Unternehmensgesellschaft, which took over the rights to the brand. VAKT® - Unternehmensgesellschaft started its business activities in the areas of interim management, service management, and project management in January 2009 and operates worldwide, with a focus on D-A-CH. In July 2018, VAKT® - Unternehmensgesellschaft was transformed into VAKT® GmbH.
