By the end of the business year 2023, VAKT-GmbH has adopted a sponsorship at the Weißwasser Zoo for a polar fox.
Starting in 2002, the Westerwälder Contact and Information Centre for Self-Help (WeKISS), under the auspices of the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband Rheinland-Pfalz/Saarland e.V., has been training women and men from various professional and age groups as volunteer clown doctors. More than 30 Westerwälder Clown Doctors are now regularly visiting hospitals such as Klinikum Kemperhof Koblenz, Barmherzige Brüder Montabaur, and St. Vincenz Landau for 'laughter visits', having visited over 5,500 sick children in recent years. The clown doctors receive regular further training and supervision.
With the sponsorship, you are part of the project and sponsor of a walnut tree. This was planted at the beginning of January 2020 and now stands in a prominent position in the tree nursery of Hof Windkind, near Berlin. This is a climatically particularly favorable location where the young tree will grow well protected from wildlife for 2-3 years. When the young walnut tree is strong enough, it will move to its final location.
